Review – Letterbox Lab

My daughter Big M loves science, she loves to know how things work. I think that this is something that needs to be nurtured especially with girls. So when I was asked to review a science subscription box I jumped at the chance.

Letterbox Lab is a science subscription box for young children to discover and develop a love of science through a variety of different experiments. We have been sent the ‘Explore Box’ which comes with 3-4 experiments for children 6 and above for £10 a month, this subscription can be cancelled at any time.

The first box we have been sent is the ‘Hidden Rainbows’ box. This includes three wondrous experiments that bring the science of light and colour to life, as well as:

– A fully-illustrated 12-page instruction booklet featuring Meg and Pico,
– A pair of rainbow glasses and customisable rainbow spinner,
– Your first collectible sticker of twelve,
– A link to the online resources page featuring video instructions, a quiz, and an extension activity.

We couldn’t wait to get started!!

Half term Halloween Science Fun
Letterbox Lab is presented in a lovely box

Big M turns 6 in a couple of days and I she would love having a go at the different experiments.

Both girls were totally engaged while we did the 3 experiments

This really is a great little box, it’s something different and it allowed Big M to make observations and think about how things are created. She was able to fill in the little booklet (I had to read it, but an older child would be able to read it no problem)

Thank you to Letterbox Lab for sending us this box.
